The sample from SPAN 3010 is a short essay focusing on equity for minorities in the United States. Through this assignment, I learned about what health equity is, the gaps in healthcare for minorities, and the potential solutions. As a future physician, it is crucial to recognize and change behaviors that may lead to inequitable care.
The sample from SPAN 4180 is a literature review and analysis of the Mexican healthcare system. This assignment gave me a glimpse into a different healthcare system to compare and contrast with the United States. Now, I know about the challenges patients face in the Mexican healthcare system.
